Letter from the Principal (2)
Dear Parents and Guardian
As we approach the most important Chinese celebration of the year, I want to wish each of you a Happy Chinese New Year. Celebrating with family and friends is very important at any time of the year, but Chinese New Year is extraordinary.
We celebrate the year of the ‘Pig,’ which is a symbol of ‘wealth.’ My wish to you is that a ‘wealth’ of happiness and prosperity with your family and friends.
As you travel during the Chinese New Year to visit with friends and family, please remind your children that learning from their family members is very important – it is important that they continue to embrace the Chinese culture and all the traditions that are celebrated during this holiday.
Happy Chinese New Year.
