Congratulations!! WASC Candidacy Status Achieved!
Buena Vista Concordia International School has been granted Candidacy Status for grades Kindergarten through 8th by the Accrediting Commission for Schools Western Association of Schools and Colleges through June 30, 2019. Candidacy is a status of affiliation indicating that BCIS is progressing toward, but does not yet assume, accreditation.
The Visiting Committee commends BCIS Board of Directors, leadership and teachers “for their passionate commitment to meeting the needs of the students and implementing instructional models designed to support students’ character developent as well as academic skills.” I would like to congratulate the BCIS community on this great achievement demonstrating our progress toward full accreditation. Thank you for your individual and collective contributions to BCIS and I look forward to our continued success in the years to come.
