BCIS Saturday School
The aims of BCIS Saturday School are to help students improve English and experience an American-style holistic education. They will learn through various methods, including critical and creative thinking exercises and hands-on projects. Instructors use English language to lead students in a variety of subjects, such as Math, Science, and History, as well as English grammar and literature. Small class sizes are maintained to ensure focused attention by the teacher towards all students.
There will be two 90-minute periods of instruction (9:00-10:30and 10:30-12:00). It is recommended students choose one academic and one sporting activity for each 90-minute period; two academic or sporting periods is also an option. We believe that sports play an important role in building character and hope students will want to join our BCIS Saturday soccer or basketball teams. With the help of professional coaches, students will improve their sporting skills, learn about teamwork, and have fun competing with one another.
BCIS Saturday School first semester begins on October 22, 2016 and ends on January 14, 2017, a total 10 sessions. The second semester starts on February 11th and ends on June 2nd with 13 sessions. Each session will run for 3 hours from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon.
