0月21-25日， 2016 世界机器人大赛在北京盛大举行！
The “World Robot Competition” was held this October 21-25 in Beijing Grand Hotel.
我校中学部6A班Barbie Huang同学和队友们经过奋力拼搏，从深圳初赛，一路过关斩将，成功晋级到北京总决赛！
Barbie Huang comes from the 6A class here at BCIS. She along with her teammates worked hard in the Shenzhen preliminary round. Their hard work paid off when they were asked to attend the finals in Beijing!
在京城为期三天的决赛中，终以满分一举拿下“宇宙之眼”项目冠军！
没错，世界冠军！
更振奋人心的是，该团队还奇迹般的打破了历史记录！同时也以优秀的成绩取得“VEXIQ天宫搬运”项目最佳结构奖！
She went on to the 3 day final in the Capital. She received full marks and won the “Eye of the Universe” project championship. You read that right, she is the world champion. What’s more, Barbie and her team also miraculously broke the all time record. Additionally, they won the “VEXIQ Temple Moving” project for the best structure.
为此，学校特发喜讯表示祝贺，我校大力支持并鼓励孩子们勇于创新、勇于挑战自己，在科学科技等领域中，创造更多奇迹，实现更具创意的未来！

“2016世界机器人大赛”(以下简称“大赛”)是“2016世界机器人大会”的重要组成部分。大赛以科技含量高、学科跨度宽、参与面广和展示性强等特点在国际上有着很强的影响力。本次大赛主要包括：无人驾驶挑战赛、无人机飞行极限挑战赛、国际水中机器人大赛、机器人明星挑战赛、Robocup挑战赛、RoboCom青少年挑战赛及其它相关活动。
The “2016World Robot Competition” (herein after referred to as the “Competition”) is an important part of “WRC 2016”.The Competition is of great influence by high technology content, widediscipline range, extensive participation scope and high exhibition property.The competition is comprised of Unmanned Driving Challenge, UAV Flight LimitChallenge, International Underwater Robot Competition, World Robot Exhibition’s Star Challenge, Robocup Challenge, RoboCom AdolescenceChallenge and other relevant activities.
此次RoboCom青少年挑战赛的参赛团队主要来自于德国、俄罗斯、新加坡等14个国家和地区，现场参赛人数预计180人左右，参赛选手年龄分布在7—25岁，主要涵盖了小学、初中、高中及大学的学生群体。
This RoboCom Adolescence Challenge is mainly composed of teams from Germany, Russian, Singapore and 14 other countries. Over 180 students ranging from elementary, middle school, high school and universities (ages 7-25) were expected to participate.
